How to Play
ON YOUR TURN
STEP 1: ROLL THE DICE
To get off the airplane and move to Changi Airport (CG2) station, you must roll a 1 or 6.
Once you’ve reached Changi Airport (CG2) station, you can claim the attraction there, if available, and you can move freely around the MRT network from your next turn onwards.
The dice can land on either a number (1, 3, 5, 6) or a Merlion .
If you rolled a number:
You may either move on the train network, or use a Taxi Ticket if you still hold one.
- If you choose to move on the train network:
-
- The number you rolled is the maximum number of stops you can move on the train network. Rolled a 5? You can move 1-5 stations in any direction, as long as there’s a connected path.
- At interchange stations, you may change lines freely to continue your journey
- If you choose to cash in your Taxi Ticket:
- You can jump to any station of your choice on the map.
- You may only use each Taxi Ticket ONCE, so return the used Taxi Ticket back to the bank at the end of your turn.
If you rolled a Merlion:
Pick a CITY JOURNEY card from the shuffled deck.
- If it’s a CITY CHRONICLE, enjoy a fun Singapore fact!
- If it’s an ACTION card, follow the instructions. Some help you, some challenge you, and some let you sabotage other players!
STEP 2: CLAIM ATTRACTIONS
1. If you have moved during your turn, you may choose an attraction to claim at your new location.
- Refer to the Station Star Sheet to see which attractions remain at each station.
- Make your choice and note its cost. If there is no number on the star, it is free of charge.
- Look through the pile of Attraction cards of your desired category. Find the card at your station with your chosen cost. Before taking the card, pay the required cost to the bank.
- Lift up that attraction’s flap on the Station Star Sheet to mark it as claimed. Make sure that you fold the correct attraction flap by looking at the colour and cost on the stars.
2. You can only claim one attraction per turn.
